What is an oil cleanser? 

Simply put, an oil cleanser is the first step in your face washing routine. It's been around for thousands of years and is a big hit in Korean beauty for good reason.

It dissolves and melts away makeup quickly and WITHOUT breaking skin out.

Perfect for teen skin as well even if they don't wear makeup as it helps dissolve oil plugs and minimizes black heads and breakouts. 

In fact, our oil cleanser removes all your makeup and sunscreen in just 60 seconds. Many of our customers use it as their primary and only cleanse.

What is the SISU oil cleanser: 

The SISU Oil Cleanser is an innovative oil to milk formula that uses a blend of natural, skin enhancing oils filled with vitamin E, linoleic acid, collagen boosting and low comedegenic (meaning it won't clog pores) oils to dissolve makeup, sunscreen, pollution (and the day), without over-stripping your skin. Skin is left soft and thoroughly cleansed and moisturised. 

Why is it different? 

1. Many oils don't emulsify meaning it leaves an oily residue that can be a pain to remove and feel greasy afterwards. Even the best oils can break you out if it's left on your skin. Our oil cleanser turns to milk when water is added and removes easily with water leaving skin soft and clean. 

2. We use pumpkin seed oil which is not only rich in vitamins and good for soothing skin but it's also known to help with brow and lash growth. The potent blend of oils dissolves eye makeup quickly so you won't need to tug your eyes and lose lashes.

3. We use oils that have low comedegenic ratings. These will not break you out. Oil cleansing sounds strange but once you see how effectively it removes makeup you quickly see that it clears skin up, not the other way around. 

4. ZERO fillers. There are no fillers, surfactants or cheap pore clogging oils just high quality skin loving oils.

How to use:

1. Start with clean dry hands. 

2. Apply a generous amount of the oil cleanser to your face, gently massaging it in circular motions for at least 60 seconds. Take your time to enjoy a light facial massage. Gently massage around your eyes to remove your mascara and eye makeup. 

4. Rinse with warm water to activate the oil to milk emulsification process, remove with your microfiber cloth and follow with your regular cleanser (or our smoothing or clarifying cleanser for healthy glowing skin).

Please ensure  that you patch test before use and discontinue if irritation occurs. 

We want to keep this product as natural as possible for your skin so we have NOT added preservatives. As such,  please ensure that you do not get water in the bottle. The product comes with a pump so as long as you keep it away from the shower you should have no problems keeping a product fresh for 6 months. Oil cleansing needs to be done with dry hands and a dry face so it's best done before hopping into the bath or shower.
